Holy Scriptures.....
I have found a gold mine in BibleGateway website, and I listen to the scriptures.  They change me and wash over my soul with comfort and healing.  I can feel the words go straight to my bones, and I do feel protected from the harshness of this world.  I turn off the T.V. with all of it's distress-filled conversation, and I turn on the scriptures being read aloud, and I know that I exist in the "secret place of the most high".  I listen and let the Psalms be the voices of those who suffer here on Earth, and I am immediately comforted.  God's ways are not my ways, but I trust his ways, and he will care for his beloved children.
